This is the first of a series of 3 traditional caches published to celebrate International Geocaching Day 2012. Each of these 3 caches is placed in a location whose name is shared with a foreign place. As well as the 3 traditional caches, there is also a final bonus cache - the coordinates for which can be discovered by completing all three of the traditional caches in this series.
Turkey Island is not only a small island of land in East Harting, it is also the name of islands in 3 North American Rivers: Detroit, Janes and Potomac.
