Deutsch-Schweizer Freundschaft / German-Swiss Friendship



Dies ist hoffentlich der Beginn einer langen und extensiven Serie von Deutsch-Schweizer Caches.
This is hopefully the beginning of a long and extensive series of German-Swiss Caches.

Was hat der hier für eine Bewandnis?!
What is this one all about?!

Hier haben wir nun beinahe 5 Jahre gewohnt und viele Freundschaften aufgebaut. Nicht zuletzt haben wir hier auch das Cachen begonnen.
Leider verlassen wir die Schweiz zum 31.7.2012 und gehen zurück nach Deutschland. Doch keine Angst, wir werden weiterhin gute Verbindungen hierher Pflegen.
Da wir nun über 400 Caches gefunden haben, ist es an der Zeit uns zu revanchieren und auch einige Caches zu platzieren.
Diese Dose soll der Anfang einer Reihe von Caches unter diesem Thema sein.
Lasst Euch überraschen, es gibt viele Ideen, die Euch zum Teil vor schier unüberwindbare Hindernisse (ca. 900km) stellen werden.
Dieser Cache hier ist ein einfacher Tradi. Schön wäre es, wenn gelegentlich ein Foto von der gegenüberliegenden Straßenseite im Log gepostet würde, damit wir unsere alte Heimat im Auge behalten können.
Und keine Angst, für Wartung vor Ort ist gesorgt, da sich unter anderem eben auch Cacherfreundschaften gebildet haben.

We have been living here for almost 5 years now and formed a number of new friendships. Last but not least we started geo-caching here. Sadly we will be leaving Switzerland on the 31. July 2012 to return to Germany. But be sure we will keep in close contact with the region.
We felt it was time now to start placing a few caches now since we have now had the pleasure to find more than 400 caches here ourselves.
This box will be the start of a series of caches under this topic.
Let yourself be surprised! There are lots of ideas which might provide almost unsurpassable difficulties to you (some 500miles).
This one is a simple traditional cache. It would be nice to find the occasional photo attached to the logs for us to see how our old home is developing.
BTW do not be concerned about maintenance: amongst others we have made a few caching-friendships too, which will support us.

Zum Ort / The Location


Wie Ihr seht, endet die Straße hier abrupt. Schaut man sich den Stadtplan von Oberglatt an, so ist sie hier schon weiter geplant. In absehbarer Zeit wird daraus aber wohl nichts und so bleibt glücklicherweise der Blick auf das Landschaftsschutzgebiet und das Riedmattcenter in der Ferne noch einige Zeit unverbaut.

The road suddenly ends here as you can see. Looking at the map of Oberglatt you will recognise that it is planned to be continued. This is, however, not going to happen in the near future and thus the view from here to the nature reserve will remain unspoiled for some time.

Es ist, wie schon gesagt ein relativ einfacher, klassischer Micro. Ihr müsst nichts abschrauben, demontieren etc.
It is a fairly simple, classical Micro Cache. You do not need to disassemble or dismantle anything.
