On Sept 8th 2002 19 founders got together with the idea to create a State wide Geocaching group. At that time Washington State Parks was considering a ban on geocaching. With the efforts of these original 19 founders we have gained a great relationship and resolved the issue
The Cache-Cadians Chapter of WSGA is also celebrating the 10 year anniversary by hosting a pot luck/picnic at Rocky Reach Dam on September 9th 2012 at 1100 hrs to 1500 hrs. We have reserved one of the covered shelters at Rocky Reach.
Everyone is welcome to attend whether a WSGA member or not Come and visit with old friends and meet new folks. While here be sure to find the Three Caches at Rocky Reach Dam for the 3 Dam Cache Challenge. Find all three get your pass port stamped and collect a nice token at the Visitor Center.
What to bring: You and Friends!! Table service for your family, a main dish or salad, Cake and Ice Cream and some beverages will be provided by the Cache-Cadians’
It may be a good idea to bring along lawn chairs or blankets.
Bring your GPS to find the three caches on the Rocky Reach property.
