Geocache Description:

A simple cache at my "secret" serene place where baby Merle was found.

The story behind Merle's 1st Cache:

When I first moved up here, a guy took me on a date to this location. The views of the valley and surrounding areas is unbelieveable. At night, the stars are amazing!

While tailgating, I dropped my chicken sandwhich on the ground. We heard rustling and eventually fighting near where I dropped it. A small mommy kitty and an emaciated kitten were fighting over the chicken. Heartbroken for the baby, I told my date "If you can catch that baby, I will take it home." Well, he did, and here we are!

I already had two rescue kitties: Jackson & Paisley, so I had to think of a name for this little male kitty that would fit.... Since he was quite "haggard," it wasn't long before I settled on "Merle." :)

Baby Merle will be two on 08/01/12 and he is the light of my life. I do not have any children, just furbabies.

I thought long and hard about where I wanted to stash my very first cache. And today, it totally hit me. This is where I found Merle. Bring some lawn chairs, a picnic, and enjoy the view and stay for the sunset :) Welcome to my "secret" place where I find peace. Enjoy the silence, the views, and the breeze :)

The cache is a small-ish camoed tupperwear pop-n-lock. Merle has hand picked a green prize for FTF. Please bring a pen.
