This multi cache has a trail of questions which encourages you to explore the museum and its exhibits. It's definitely not a cache and dash, so please take time to properly enjoy the museum. The answer to each question is a number which you will plug into a formula at the end to get the co-ordinates to final physical cache outside. The answers to all the questions will be found inside the museum, so do make sure the museum is actually open!
A museum has been on this site since 1875, and has gone through a series of evolutionary steps since then, most recently when the previous Sheffield City Museum and Mappin Art Gallery metamorphosed into Weston Park Museum following a £17 million pound redevelopment in 2006. The museum is fully wheelchair accessible. Unfortunately there is no dedicated car park for the museum, although there are university car parks nearby that can be used at the weekend, and there are paid parking spaces on Mushroom Lane, next to the Museum. - There is a map of excavations that have been made in the local area as you enter the exhibit. What number is Sheffield Castle? KL
