Take a trip to one of my favorite places in Brooklyn, Friends Field. I grew up visiting this field and practically spent my teenage years there. Over the past several years they have essentially rebuilt the entire park adding brand new tennis courts, a first-class children's park, baseball diamond, picnic areas and plenty of shade from various trees in the field. This is a great place to take the kids and they will especially enjoy the hunt, the cache and the park after. I know my kids did.
We've used a relatively general location for the cache so you'll have to think a bit. It's not overly difficult and should become fairly obvious after a short time but you will enjoy the hunt, the park and the cache. We've used a takeout plastic container and included a lot of swag for the kids to enjoy. There might be quite a few muggles around so be careful when you locate the cache. You'll have to use a bit of stealth. Please note that the park closes at dusk so you will want to plan accordingly. Enjoy.
