The 4th (depending on your direction of approach) of a 'Quintet' of assorted sized caches, forming a 5.9Km loop, 2 hours, around one of my favorite dog walks. Encompassing some glorious views to all points of the compass...
The loop is very much a full countryside experience, so seasonal wear is advised accordingly. Room for one car only at Whingreen, however scope for a couple of cars just north of Hanger Down Yomp-2 at Hall Cross. (If you are doing the loop that is). All caches placed with the help of my geom8 and fellow maintainer, PercyW66. (Although I have the dog so methinks I will be doing most of the 'maintaining)' LOL. Regular sized round black container with log inside (bring own writing implement) capable of holding small to medium GC's or TB's.
The nearby house reminds me of Hansel and Grettels Ginger bread house! Once done here, head off south along the footpath through the fields and along the dusty roads towards HDY-5, study the map and don't forget to take the 90 degree easterly left turn, up the track to hanger Down, just after the cattle grid and kissing gate, BEFORE Hanger Down Cottages! Uphill track will get a lot more challenging initially, before coming out onto Hanger down again!
