Geocache Description:

A micro cache along the New Almaden Trail in Almaden Quicksilver Park.

On the return of my 8 mile hike today, I was thinking of all the hiking cachers out there who hound the trails looking for caches.......and coming back for more as they are placed.

With that said, this cache is dedicated to all cachers who push themselves to go hiking to get their quarry. You are looking for a normal small cache. There is some PO in the vicinity but very easily avoided as you reach for the cache. The terrain rating is 2.5 due to lots of ups and downs on this trail.

Have fun and happy New Almaden Trail to you. My favorite trail of all! 

Please respect park hours. Watch for ticks, snakes, elephants, tigers, lions, and bears.....oh my :-)  Closest parking is Webb Canyon Drive.  After signing log, please replace where you found and throw some natural camo on it. Thanks! From Webb Canyon, this is a 1.7 mile RT hike. (thanks, PAVEIT)
