At the end of the wooded section of the Trail we ease up onto the old trackbed of the branch line which headed to Arnside. Nice views over the surrounding countryside. Another picnic bench can be found here and a 'snail-trail' path. It's also very good for train spotting at this point - don't be too startled!
A short way south of the junction you will find a beautiful crown! Please be gentle searching and snap the lid on well.
