Lizard Launch or Leisure Lunch Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

SimDad: This is the first cache I ever placed. It had its strengths, and its amusements, but there were some downsides to it also: the container appears to have rolled away; I don't live close enough to it to regularly maintain it. I though I could pop down there once in a while, but it's prohibitive. So - with an eye towards placing caches closer to home (or at least more securely installed), I've decided to take this one offline so that no one experiences ambiguity or frustration.

Geocache Description:

Lizards abound.  Bring the whole family.  Those inclined to inclines find the cache.  Everyone else picnics at the park or plays in the creek.

Park at the Cooley Picnic Area in Stevens Creek County Park, just SW of the intersection of Stevens Canyon Rd. and Mt. Eden Rd.  Walk through the picnic area, avoiding the maintenance facility and the "campus" that's out there.  Use your GPS.  Take the right trail, not the wrong one.  Don't stop early, and don't go to far.  Anything else would make it too easy.  Expect to walk about 2 miles.
