This is an ammo box containing a few goodies, as well as a gold medal for the FTF. It is located on Forest Service Road #54, which is directly across highway 49 from Bassett's Station. Cross the bridge and drive 3.4 miles once you get across the bridge. This road has not been maintained in several years, so take it slow and easy. The last time I'd been up this road was quite a few years ago and there was a spectacular view of the Sierra Buttes. Now the trees and bushes have grown up quite a bit, so you have to position yourself in order to see the Buttes. Enjoy
If you have a snowmobile, or really like uphill cross country skiing, this cache can be found during the winter.
