Geocache Description:

1st cache in " The Alternates" series. The series has been put together by Steve (1/3 Bluepunch), Dave (Coldrum) and myself. The name of the series speaks for itself and is the brainchild of Steve. The series was put out before, during and just after the Olympics. There are four cache types and every container size is included. The puzzle cache is best worked out beforehand. It is also worth printing off the Bonus before leaving.

The series contains 55 caches over 8 miles. The series can also be undertaken in smaller loops with the 5 Link caches. Finally there are two "Just for Coldrum" Multis which are worth picking up but they will each take you approximately 200 feet off the series.

This CM cache replaces GeoCotch's cache but still retains the number and counts as another CM. It is part of Sadexploration’s immensely far–reaching Church Micro series. Hopefully, it will attain the high standard already set and bring some Geo-life back to this part of Kent. All Saints Number 115 in the series is All Saints. The church, which is flint with tiled roof, is a simple one comprising nave and chancel without aisles or chapels. A vestry and porch were added in the 19th century. All that remains of the Norman church are two small round-headed windows, one to the left of the porch as you enter the church, and the other in the north wall, and the impressive south door which still contains the original oak panels and wrought iron hinge work. During the 13th century the chancel and chancel arch were rebuilt and, with the insertion of two large windows in the nave, the church took on its present shape. The only other remaining part of the medieval church is in the nave roof. Looking up, one can see the fine oak tie beams linking the north and south walls. On the top of these are three crown posts indicative of a 15th century date. At the above coordinates you will have a view of the Church. If it has a tiled roof then A =2. If it has a thatched roof then A =3
