Our August meeting finds us in the village of Warsash situated at the mouth of the river Hamble. Sailing plays an important part in the village's economy as evidenced by the number of boats moored in this locality. The village is also home to the Warsash Maritime Acadamy which provides training for Merchant Navy Officers from all around the world.
Our venue for the evening is The Rising Sun where we have exclusive use of their first floor function room which boasts stunning views across the river Hamble - Hopefully the weather will be kind to us and the view will be bathed in summer evening sunshine!

Unfortunately the meeting area is not wheelchair accessible as the meeting room is upstairs. However, there is seating on the ground floor if you wish to join us there
From the M27 at junction 9 follow the signs to Warsash. Once in the village keep going till you reach the waterfront where you will find the Rising Sun on the left hand side of the one way system in Shore Road.
Free parking can be found opposite the pub. Alternate parking can also be found a short walk away at the co-ordinates detailed below.
The manager and his team are looking forward to giving you a very warm welcome. They offer a good choice of meals, their website details the choices available.
Pre-orders for food are not required but please bear in mind there may be a wait if large numbers of food orders are placed in a short period of time. Just log as intending to eat or not to give the pub rough numbers.
