Alternate Title: Dkata at 5000 finds
This event is to celebrate dkata's 5K milestone. It's taken over 6 years for him to get here, but the journey (and all the cache finds) is it's own reward.
The date, time and location is: Saturday, September 15, 2012 from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm at the Martinez Shoreline Park in Martinez, California. Hope to see you there.
The event is a potluck picnic. BBQ Hot dogs and hamburgers will be provided by the host as the main fare. Bring other food to eat and share. The party planners will offer some raffle prizes, play some ice-breaker games and pass around a TB Exchange Bucket. There may some new caches placed in the park just in time for this event and there are some existing evil puzzle hides already here. Maybe the CO's will help you solve them.
Even if you don't know dkata (and who really does?) please come to eat, meet new and veteran geocachers, share stories and tips on devilish hides, find the old and new geocaches in the area, do a chirp cache, and log an event cache that qualifies for a number of challenge caches.
