For Father's day this year the kids gave me some caching supplies. They were pretty creative! We did some exploring over the summer and placed this multi-stage cache on a little loop hike along part of the Fairfax Cross Country Trail (CCT) and an adjoining horse trail. I have provided a parking/trailhead waypoint as well as a reference point for the return trail to complete the loop.
The cache is named after a road sign we saw while driving through the area, and the fact that in the summer things are pretty well grown in near the creek. However, the trail is well-established and each stage is close to it. For each stage, please stay on the trails until you get to GZ!
Stages 1 and 2 can be described as "Container: Other" and the final is a medium-sized screw-top plastic container. It is not necessary to remove either of the first two stages from their hiding spots to get the coordinates. For good measure there are two instances of stage 2, one high and one low.
Good luck and have fun!
Congratulations to dminimax for making his 500th cache find here!
