At Glacier Lake outside Red Lodge Mt. It is a 2 mile, mostly uphill walk to the cache. This is a mid to late summer trail. Drive 12 miles south out of Red Lodge to the 3 campgrounds. Then follow the signs to Glacier Lake Trail. Go over the bridge past the campgrounds, then left on a dirt road about 8 miles to the end. A four wheel drive or high profile vehicle is required. There are some very rocky sections on this road!
Follow the trail to Glacier Lake. Enjoy the scenery! Just before the lake, go past the high rocky section, then pretty much straight up about 30 feet to the cache area. Don't head up too soon as that will make the adventure much more challenging!
