The coordinates provided only mark the Tunnel of Doom entrance. The cache itself is physically located inside the tunnel. You'll want to park over at the Ace (Pitkins) hardware store and look for a little trail that leads down into the woods. Go down the trail and you're at the tunnel.
The tunnel starts off fairly easy and gets a little more difficult as you move further in. Bigger kids should be able to make it through and back without issue. I wouldn't recommend the trip for little kids, though.
So you might be asking where the cache is located in the tunnel? Well, if I straight out told you, it wouldn't be any fun, now would it? Here's a clue though.
Redemption lies for those at the the end of the rocky road of glory!
Once you find the cache and sign the log (bring your own pen), you will need to head back to the entrance you came in, as it is not possible to exit the other way unless you REALLY want to go for a swim.
Do be careful when traveling through the tunnel. In particular, make sure to look out for spiders and snakes. Bring a decent flashlight! Sorry, but a smart phone flashlight probably won't cut it. For maximum fun factor, I'd recommend going for the cache when it's dark outside. Just remember to bring a buddy with ya to be on the safe side.
Well, I think I've about covered everything. So are you brave enough to venture through Mobywv's Tunnel of Doom? Or are you chicken? If you are, don't worry! Your secret is safe with me. ;)
FTF prize is a puppy! Yep, a puppy! That's how I roll! But really, who needs a prize when you can proudly proclaim you were the first person to find this cache and live to tell about it!
Good luck to those who choose to tackle this cache and happy caching in general!
Congratulations to Holn1b4IDie for being FTF and living to tell about it!
