This cache is located just west of the ridge between Water Canyon and Crocket Hollow. The land on BOTH sides of this ridge is within an exclusion zone that is not part of the Mount Naomi wilderness area.
The name of this cache refers to the many old tree stumps that can be seen on either side of the ridge -- a reminder of days long ago when early settlers logged these mountains.
The container is a camo-wrapped micro hanging by a short length of aluminum wire.
