The cache is near one of two prominent peaks at the head of Thurston Hollow on the Cache Valley / Water Canyon ridge. Land west of this ridge is part of the Mount Naomi wilderness area. Land east of the ridge falls within an exclusion zone that is not part of the wilderness area.
The container is a camouflage waterproof match case with a bright orange cap. It is hidden in the "between" space created when one large boulder rolled down onto another. There is a golden nugget for the FTF
