Kamniško sedlo (tudi Jermanova vrata, ljudsko tudi Sedlo oz. Sedu) je 1903 m visok greben v Kamniško-Savinjskih Alpah.
Tik pod grebenom je Koča na Kamniškem sedlu, priljubljena postojanka v poletnih mesecih.
Sedlo na zahodu omejuje Brana, na vzhodu pa Planjava. Proti jugu zložno pada proti zatrepu doline Kamniške Bistrice, na severu pa se strmo spušča v Logarsko dolino.
Legenda o Jermanu pravi, da je bil divji lovec, ki je poznal vse gorske poti. Ko so Turki napadli Celovec, je kranjsko vojsko vodil po najkrajši poti prek Kamniškega sedla in s tem rešil Celovec. Zato so v zahvalo poimenovali mogočni prelaz po njem.

Kamniško sedlo (also Jermanova vrata, people say also Sedlo or Sedu) is 1903 m high ridge within the Kamniško-Savinjske Alpe.
Just below the ridge is a hut named Koča na Kamniškem sedlu, which is a popular stop in the summer.
On the west side of Sedlo is mountain top Brana and on the eastern side is mountain top Planjava. On the southern side of Sedlo gently descends towards the valley Kmaniška Bistrica and on the north is steeply sweep down to the valley Logarska dolina.
The Legend of Jerman says that he was the poacher, who knew all the mountain trails. When the Turks invaded Klagenfurt, he led the Carniolan army taking the shortest way passing Kamniško sedlo and thus saved Klagenfurt. In thanks for that the mighty mountain pass is named after him.
