Geocache Description:


A multi cache which will accompany you all the way to Shatili.

The initial coordinates direct you to the starting point, which is on the road to Shatili, somewhere in between Tbilisi and Gudauri.

Thereafter, 4 stations await you! At the fourth station, you will be given the choice between two options. The first will lead you to the cache and the second will show you the way to beautiful place.

Station 1

Go to:

N 42° 25.573

E 44° 56.616

You are standing in front of an eagle. In front of the bird is a sign which indicates two destinations: A = A km to the left; BC = BC km straight ahead

The next station lies at:

42° 31. (ABC - 231)

45° 03. (ABC - 161)

Station 2

After climbing to the right object, you will fin a commemorative plaque on which a date is recorded : DEFG.

You can find the next station at:

N 42° 32. (DEFG - 1242)

E 45° 04. (DEFG - 1347)

Station 3

After climbing to the right object, you will find an « entrance ». Look for a date scribbled under it : HIJK

Find the next station at:

N 42° 39. (HIJK - 1432)

E 45° 09. (HIJK - 1538)

On your way to Station 4, at N 42° 36.522 E 45° 05.199, when you stand in the water :), have a look on your left !

Station 4

The fifth line of the commemorative plaque in front you highlights a date: LMNO

Choose of two options:

Option 1:

N 42° (N-L) (O) . (LMNO -1529)

45° (E) (O) . (LMNO - 1840)

Option 2:

N 42° (N-L) (O-N +L) . (LMNO - 1327)

45° (3 X N) . (LMNO - 1359)

If, when arriving, you notice the theme of Photo A, you will need to make your way to the coordinates of the other option in order to discover the cache.

Photo B is a spoiler photo. Thanks for using the same rocks to stabilize the cache, exactly as you found it.

Beware: The terrain is slippery, not matter which option you choose. You will therefore need to be prudent and take careful, slow steps.
