Container Type: Lock & Lock
Code Location: Inside container
Access Info: This cache is located on USFS property.
Winter Access: Difficult, dependent on amount of snow.

UN 9111 is an unnamed rocky outcropping that provides excellent views of the Tarryall Valley. Although it might look daunting, this rock provides relatively easy access on its east side that will still leave you with a feeling of accomplishment upon reaching the summit. You might have to use your hands a bit for the final climb to the summit but this should be accessible for most adults and children. The summit provides ample room to have a picnic and look through the cache and summit log books.

Park at the gate for the Spruce Grove Campground on County Road 77 (Tarryall Road) and walk down to the restrooms. Follow the trail through the camp sites until you reach a sign directing you to Lizard Rock, etc. Continue up the hill rather than turning down the trail, climbing a steep hill until you gain the ridge. At this point you will leave the trail and head towards the waypoint for the "ramp." Find whatever route is easiest for you to the cache and to the summit. Use caution on the rocks, especially if there has been rain or snow. There is also a separate summit log at the top for you to locate and sign as well.
