Cache maintenance includes: replacing broken or missing containers, replacing full or wet logs, updating any changes to the text, updating coordinates, removing the needs maintenance attributes, enabling the listing, and more. Check out all of a geocache owner's responsibilities here. This cache is being archived, and removed from the active cache listings.

The Eleven Mile Reservoir was constructed in 1932 to store water for the City of Denver. At the time of its construction, the reservoir was the largest in Denver Water’s system and was completed during the nation’s worst recorded drought. A small community known as Howbert as well as a handful of ranches were located on land that is now under the reservoir. Today, the reservoir is the focus of Eleven Mile State Park and offers a variety of recreational activities.
