Geocache Description:

P&M's 50 Cache Dash is a series of fifty caches placed along a scenic route south east of Pretoria. The route runs along Rietvlei Nature Reserve for the first stretch, so be sure to do some game spotting as well as cache spotting, and then runs through some more rural and agricultural areas before heading back towards Pretoria again.

We have tried to mix things up along the way so some caches will be easy to find and others will be more difficult, the container sizes and types are not all the same and their hiding spots should hopefully also keep you guessing as you go. We placed this series as our way of saying thank you for all the fun we have had in our first year of geocaching, so we really hope that you enjoy it and have fun too!

As you come back into town, the last cache in the series is placed on a ridge next to the road. The terrain is a bit rocky so be careful not to slip, especially in wet weather. The container can hold small trackables and swag.

Congratulations! You made it! You have reached the end of the series. If you completed the entire route from #1 to #50, here are some statistics for you:

• You have found 50 caches
• You have found 3 cache types - Traditional, Unknown and Multi
• You have found 5 cache sizes - Micro, Small, Medium, Other and Not Chosen
• You have completed difficulty ratings from 1.5 to 3
• You have tackled terrain ratings from 1 to 2
• You have travelled 56 km
• You reached a highest elevation of 1664m
• Your lowest elevation was 1498m

Congratulations on your splendid achievement and thanks for taking part in P&M's 50 Cache Dash!
