Geocache Description:

SIDETRACKED - STARCROSS

A SideTracked cache near Starcross Station. Due to permission issues I wasn't able to place it right at the station, and that is why this is further up the line.

Should be a fairly simple find, there is no pen so you will need to bring one if you want to claim an extra !
If parking at the waypoint, there is a fee of 30p for half an hour or 70p for a day, although from the 1st November up until Maundy Thursday the car park is free.

Station Information:


Starcross railway station is a small station on the Exeter to Plymouth line in the village of Starcross, Devon, England. It is on the shore of the River Exe estuary and is linked to a pier used by the ferry to Exmouth on the other side of the estuary. One of the South Devon Railway engine houses, which formerly powered the trains on this line, is situated alongside the station.

STEALTH WILL BE REQUIRED, ESPECIALLY AROUND WHEN THE TRAINS ARRIVE OR DEPART.
