Geocache Description:

We first began caching back in 2011. 8/28/2011 was the day we made our very first find. Back then we were using a Droid with a program we had downloaded for Geocaching. On 9/21/2011 we decided to search for a cache that was close to our home. When we arrived at GZ and exited the vehicle with Droid in hand we happened to notice a couple getting out of their vehicle and appeared to be heading to the same area as we were. The man had a device in his hand and we thought perhaps they were cachers. As we approached GZ we discovered that they were indeed cachers as well. We all began to search GZ and Meister spotted the cache. We all signed the log and replaced the cache and said our farewells. We never knew who we had met until later that day when they logged the find. It turns out we had run into GR8Caches. Meister checked out their profile and was wide eyed in amazement at the number of caches they had found. We had tried several times for one cache in this area that kept stumping us. Meister was certain he had the correct location for the cache but couldn’t seem to find it. So off an e-mail went to GR8Caches. Meister was correct in the location according to GR8Caches but poor equipment had hindered the find. One day the find was in hand when Meister had better equipment. That was our 37th find a 4.5. D with a 2 T. :) Quickly Meister sent thanks for the confirmation e-mail out to GR8Caches. That’s when GR8Ccahes enlightened us about the Route 9 Bike Trail and the same type of hides along this trail. Really Meister thought, we are going to have to check that trail out. Before making it to the trail we discovered an interesting cache called Hi-Tech Cache. When we found it we were amazed to say the least. What a clever idea! Man this WVTim guy is really creative we thought. Finally in October of 2011 we made it to the Bike trail and discovered a whole slew of creative caches from WVTim and GR8Caches. That’s when we became hooked on Geocaching. So for all the creative caches and unique hides we thank WVTim and GR8Caches. We also thank them for making us nuts about Geocaching. The cache that we have placed is a simple cache it’s not meant to be a difficult or challenging find. This cache is meant to be a fun and interesting find to honor GR8Caches and WVTim for the many interesting and unique caches they have created and placed. Be it easy or hard they have a cache that’s sure to make you smile.

We try to do our part for the geocaching community as we have learned from two of the best and most creative cachers out there. There are other cachers out there that are doing the same and we really appreciate and admire them for what they do as well. Our inspiration and creative ideas for caches were started due to WVTim and GR8Caches though and we are certain that they have had the same effect on others. To all the others out there that are doing the same we salute you as well.

The cache host is the size of a small. But the log holder is a micro so be dure to byop to sign the log.
