Geocache Description:

Question: Do you really know what you think you know?

My Evil plans are in motion and there is no turning back. I do not know if you are ready to see what I have to show you, but unfortunately we are out of time.

Last time, you had it pretty easy. There was really only one puzzle to solve to find the kidnapped cacher. However, while you were all out on the water, hills, or city; I was busy snatching my next victim. And this time, rescuing your fellow cacher will not be such a walk in the park. It will not be such an easy task.

In order to locate your friend, bring as many as you can at 5:00pm to the posted coordinates
. With that in mind, you will need a few items which you can either deduce from the attribute list or by reading the hint below. Also, no watercraft is needed for this round.

-- The title of this round tells you more than you think it does.

Breakdown of the Night's Event:

At around 5pm a dark cloaked figure emerged from the woods carrying a red ammo can. Upon reaching the group of unsuspecting geocachers, the cloaked Evil Cacher Napper cast the box to the ground. This container held a usb drive with a wherigo cartridge for the group to upload to their respective devices. The wherigo was to accompany the groups along their path and provide them needed information. Failsafes were programmed into them in case the group needed help.

From the parking lot, the group was split into two paths. They are as follows:

Longer Travel
This group headed southeast to the first stage of a to-be-published, aptly named multicache, The Evil Cacher Napper Disheartens You. The first stage was under the road in a culvert with knee deep water. There they found a clue and a puzzle to solve which gave them a projection.
After getting back on course, they found the second stage to be high up in a tree to climb.
The third stage towards the end of the long peninsula was in a rotted out tree. There they found instructions to move even further up the beach to a location where they had to shine their lights out over the lake to an island where reflective stakes gave them only the west coordinates for their next location. The north coordinates were obtained by the other group:

Least Resistance:
This group took off a short distance to the northwest. There, they followed reflective stakes along the path to a pond and the final stake out in the water. They needed to wade out and grab the stake which had the west coordinates for stage 2. The north coordinates for stage two were suspended by a string high over the middle of the pond. One side of the string was attached to the tree that will eventually become the first stage of this leg's to-be-published multicache...The Evil Cacher Napper Disparages You. Their next stop took them to a tree over the water. Despite the group's initiative and finding the final tag here, they were intended to make a tree climb over the water to a tag that gave them a hint to the location of the coordinates for stage three. On to stage three, the tip of the peninsula. There they found the final container with instructions to look out over the water where an island on the river showed them reflective stakes marking the north coordinates they needed to proceed. The rainy weather was their enemy here but they made out with the proper information all the same.

The combined coordinates from both peninsulas took the group to the southeast parking lot where they found the last puzzle piece. Mostly a dummy puzzle with one color giving them false coordinates and the other color telling them to simply flip the puzzle over, they were able to find the glow-in-the-dark paint with the correct location of the second to last stage of the event.

A small group went into the woods where they made quick work of a puzzlebox that did not survive the day's rain and not-so-structurally-sound root system. Then off to the final:

The Kidnapped Cacher

The geocachers made their way over to the final location where they found the dark cloaked figure standing next to the kidnapped cacher. It was at this time the group was Enlightened to find that it was AddHam who donned the green shirt and hood as the kidnappee. Revealing the true Evil Cacher Napper to be none other than Spartanalum from the very beginning of last year's event series.

Yes, the ECN is the brainchild of Spartanalum:

Always Two There Are, No More No Less.

And back in those woods lies the third to-be-published geocache. A traditional named The Evil Cacher Napper Enlightens You. This traditional cache is separate from the event logbook which was brought out to the rest of the group. You may have signed the traditional logbook when it was located near the second parking lot and contained the final ECN puzzle piece.

The three geocaches to be published from this event are listed below for your convenience. Your name must be in the logbook for those caches in order to log a find on them.
