Yellow 01 - Newton Longville Crossroads
The Milton Keynes Boundary Walk is a circular walk approximately 65 miles long around the boundary of the Milton Keynes Unitary Authority; it is waymarked with the Oakleaf symbol.
In 2012 a group a local geocachers divided the walk into sections and set a series of over 300 caches along the boundary.
More information about the walk and caches can be found at the website Caching the Boundary.
The yellow section of the walk is approximately 6 miles long and starts at Newton Longville, via the North Bucks Way and ends at Oakhill Wood.
There are 31 caches in this section (plus a Bonus) and each cache contains a letter to help you find the yellow bonus cache, which is hidden near the middle of the section. There are only six different codes to find, so each one occurs 3 or 4 times in the series.
This one is a magnetic key holder.
To find the cache, read the distances to various locations on the road signs visible from the given coordinates. You can find the cache at:
N 51o (Drayton Parslow + Stoke Hammond)(Winslow).(Whaddon)(Leighton Buzzard)(Winslow)
W 000o (Winslow/Bletchley)(Buckingham/Bletchley).(Stewkley*Stewkley)(Leighton Buzzard)(Stewkley-Bletchley)
