Geocache Description:

P&M's 50 Cache Dash is a series of fifty caches placed along a scenic route south east of Pretoria. The route runs along Rietvlei Nature Reserve for the first stretch, so be sure to do some game spotting as well as cache spotting, and then runs through some more rural and agricultural areas before heading back towards Pretoria again.

We have tried to mix things up along the way so some caches will be easy to find and others will be more difficult, the container sizes and types are not all the same and their hiding spots should hopefully also keep you guessing as you go. We placed this series as our way of saying thank you for all the fun we have had in our first year of geocaching, so we really hope that you enjoy it and have fun too!

This sign reminded us of the Lone Ranger - a fiery horse with the speed of light, a cloud of dust and a hearty "Hi Ho Silver!". With his faithful Indian companion Tonto, the daring and resourceful masked rider of the plains led the fight for law and order in the early American west.
