My first Geocache (please play nice). A gentle off-set micro celebrating a small piece of Bath’s railway history.
History: Weston station was officially opened, along with the rest of the Midland Railway Bath branch from Bristol on 8th August 1869. Weston was the first stop after local trains left the Green Park station in Bath on their way to Bristol. Crossing over a level-crossing in Station Road just to the west of the station, trains then called at Kelston (for Saltford), Bitton, Oldland Common, Warmley, Mangotsfield where it connected with the rest of the Midland Railway for onward journeys to the north. Although Weston station was only served by local services, long distance services passed by, such as the famous Pines Express which utilised the Dorset and Somerset Railway and the Midland Railway to connect Bournemouth and Manchester with a daily service.
Weston station was closed to passenger traffic in September 1953 when most passengers were using a more frequent tram service into the centre of Bath. The whole line was closed to passengers in 1966 and to freight in 1971 as part of the Beeching’s axe.
Much of the route west of Bath is part of the Bristol and Bath railway path, which contains lots of other excellent caches starting with Jenny&James’ A Railway & A River.
Cache: At the above co-ordinates is Weston Station building, which is currently used by a number of local businesses. One of those businesses has a sign at the road with it’s telephone number (01225 ABCDEF). Take a look at the station building. Take a note of the number of Velux roof windows (G), the number of chimney stacks on the building (H) and the total number of chimney pots on those stacks (J).

After comments about the exposed nature of GZ, I have made the hint a whole lot less ambiguous so you can go straight for it with all your stealth skills without looking too suspicious.
