Geocache Description:

Come join us for another and final "A Geocachers Annual Event Cache" cache where fun can be had by all and prizes galor, even many of my blankets.

It’s time for the 10th and final Annual “A Geocachers Annual Event Cache” organized by me, Pattycat and this is the final event I’ll be organizing... (at least with this name on it) it’s time to pass it on to someone else if so desired.

Due to the Mega Event happening this year on the coast July 7th I am setting the #10 event date one month and a bit later for those that would like to attend both since last year the #9 event was great but very low attendance. I hope to see a ton of people, perhaps not as many as will be at the July event although wouldn’t that be super but since this is the last Annual Event I’m organizing I hope those that have attended these in the past but couldn’t make it last year or whatever can find the time to attend this final one as I say goodbye.

The place: Horseshoe Lake campground close to Cranbrook, B.C.

Coords #1: 49°33.883 x 115°31.057 - Turn off the highway and go to the 1st junction.

Coords #2: 49°34.041 x 115°30.974 - You can go left or right, if you go left you’re taking the scenic route but you will come upon us and if you go right you’re taking the way that is closer to where we are that is if we get this particular spot again.

Coords #3: 49°34.395 x 115°30.884 either right where we are or very close to it as I said this area will be very busy in August so I took this set of coords as close as I could to the area but there will be signs posted to help you.

The date: August 11th and 12th which is one month and a week after the Mega Event on the coast.

The cost: $5.00 one time per family charge whether you camp one night, the entire weekend, or not and you can pay this when you register.

Games: A few regular ones like the 50/50, Geopoker, and I’m going to do the Geoscav for the last time too so stay tuned for the list. I’m also thinking that there may be a game of concentration and I sure hope I can get some caches placed for this event that you will “be chosen” to go locate.

Pot Luck: Yes there will be a pot luck supper and I’m trying to decide which day to have it on, Saturday or Sunday and I think it will depend on what people post as to what day(s) they will be attending and any suggestions for this would be super. Please make sure you post what you will be bringing for the pot luck and how many people in your group.
