Kleiner Tradi in der Nähe der Grieralm

Small traditional near the Grieralm hut

Die Grieralm (1.787 m) in der Nähe von Juns ist eine wunderschöne Almhütte, auf der im Sommer und im Winter immer etwas los ist. Leckere Gerichte und eine reichhaltige Getränkeauswahl erfrischen müde Wanderer. Im Winter führt eine ca. 5 km lange beleuchtete Rodelstrecke zurück ins Tal. Der Aufstieg über eine breite Forststraße von Juns aus dauert ca. 90 min.

Der kleine Plastikcontainer befindet sich in der Nähe der Hütte. Daher seid ein bisschen vorsichtig beim Loggen – je nach Jahres- und Tageszeit sind hier viele Muggels unterwegs. Im Winter und bei viel Schnee ist der Cache schlecht oder nicht erreichbar!

Der Cache kann gut zusammen mit dem Höllensteinhütte-Cache auf einer Wanderung gehoben werden. Startet man von der Grieralm (1.787 m), geht es gemäßigt bergan und dann auf einem recht steilen Weg hinab zur Höllensteinhütte. Aber auch in der anderen Richtung ist der Weg machbar – zwischen beiden Almen sind ca. 100 Höhenmeter zu überwinden. Die Wanderung zwischen den beiden Hütten dauert ca. 1 Stunde. Wanderschuhe sind unbedingt empfehlenswert!

The Grieralm (1,787 m) near Juns is a lovely hut with plenty of visitors in summer and in winter. Great food and drinks are available and will refresh tired hikers. In winter you can toboggan all the way down to the valley (approx. 5 km). The toboggan run is illuminated. If you're walking up from Juns on track no. 24, it takes approx. 90 minutes to get there.

The small cache container is located near the hut. Please be careful when logging it, cause there are plenty of muggles around in summer and winter. When there's a lot of snow in winter, it's unlikely that you can dig out the cache, sorry!

If you're looking for a nice hike, you can combine it with the Höllensteinhütte cache (about 1 hour walk between the two huts). If you start from the Grieralm (1,787 m), the track is moderately uphill at first and a fairly steep descent down to Höllensteinhütte. The other direction is doable as well. Good hiking boots are necessary! The difference in altitude between the two huts is 100 m.
