How to find a good path up to the top of the Psilorithis with Timeos Stavros? There are some possibilities. Our reason to put a cache here was to lead interested Geocachers to one of these starting points. From here we did in 2011 our tour up to the top.
You can drive from Livadia on a road with a normal car and a lot of impressive mountain sceneries can be seen. Not to forget: Every year at this refuge area the famous Psilorithis - Run with a big festival is organized.
How to fid the cache area?
Take the Old Road Rethymno - Iraklio and turn to Livadia (not far from Zoniana / Sfentoni-Cave). In Livadia turn at Waypoint 1 and follow the signpost „Refuge of Migerou“ till the end and park at Waypoint 2.
The Cache:
It is a small one (plastic container) with a logbook and a pen and something to trade.
