The former church of St. Hilary is a Grade II listed building.
Recently the York Diocese sold St Hilary’s Church which was used as a communal meeting area for the Village.
1910. Nave, aisles, west entrance projection with off-centre bellcote. Rendered on brick foundation with ashlar dressings, clay tiled roofs. Dec. traceried East window. Other windows small, two-light stone mullioned. Sloped buttresses articulate East end.
