When I laid this cache I traversed across from another cache. I wouldn't recommend coming that way since the vegetation is thick and spiky. If you follow the reference points I have put in the cache then you will almost completely avoid bush bashing. Leave the Mt Tennent walking track at the point indicated and head south until you reach a fence. Follow the fence towards the second reference point where you can start to follow the creek.
Most of the time I walked in the creek bed except for a few places where it made sense to skirt around some patches of bush. Once you make it to the top of the falls (RP3) you will have a wide tract of creek bed to follow. Please be very careful of your footing since the area has recently been earth in motion. On the way back down the tread of your boots may be full of mud and hence have reduced traction. Be careful!
Please refer to the spoiler photos as it would be a terrible shame to go to all that effort and not get your smiley. The area is very steep and so coordinates can be dicey. I had 3m accuracy when I laid the cache. Enjoy!
