Geocache Description:

Cache information
A Bridge Too Far
This is a nice circular walk with good views.
You are looking for a 0.5 litre snap lock container.

Please ensure cache is well hidden and camouflaged afterwards.

About the walk and the location
This cache can be found on foot, horseback, or mountain bike.
If you have a car, there is plenty of space at the parking location waypoint marked on this cache.
The cache location published (N51 14.791 E001 07.818) is the starting point for this two part cache. The route is exclusively on bridleways with an uphill stretch to start with.

From the starting point, go up the bridle way then follow the path round until you get to the top.
Enjoy the views, have a rest, and collect the final cache location from the sign you will find hidden on the side of the seat.

Once this has been programed into your GPS, you will find that the cache is not far away.
DO NOT try to take the direct route for reasons that you will be able to see and hear!
Continue following the marked bridle way through the metal gate, towards N51 14.385 E001 08.218.
Enjoy the views at this waypoint, and contemplate the title of the cache. Turn left down the bridle way towards the cache. If you lose your GPS under the tree cover, don't worry as you will be able to pick it up again once in open space at the end.

The cache is a 0.5 litre snap lock container with plenty of space for trackables and swaps.

Continue following the bridle way until you get back onto the road. In the distance, you will see a beautiful bridge (this time!) by a big tree.
You can go over to this bridge for a closer look if you want to, or cross it, and continue across the fields, under the A2, and back into Bridge for an extended trip, or simply head West along the road back to the starting point.
