One of a series of caches along Thompsons Track Road, a distance of 40km from Rakaia in the north to Valetta in the south.
The caches have been hidden and will be maintained with assistance from La Vista and Hello Mrs often in the company of Rosie a faithful K9.
There is good roadside parking for this cache LHS heading south.
MAINTENANCE ISSUES
Due to the large number of caches on Thompsons Track please list any caches with maintenance problems encountered in your log for Thompsons Track # 1 as this will be seen quicker and not be lost within the many logs we receive each month.
While individual logs for caches are appreciated feel free to copy and paste logs for Caches # 2 to # 80. Logs for these caches will only be checked by the owner on a random basis.

Hiding geocaches so you can visit each one!
Search a bush, a tree, a post, on the ground
Could be up, down, or just hanging around
Well camo’d, out of sight, or in plain view
But do watch out for a water hazard or two!
Cache containers of different size & shape
Recycled, or brand new of various make
Sistema, Snap lock boxes, Eclipse tins too,
Pill bottles with tops that flip, click, or screw,
Long slim tubes, short fat jars, big round pots,
You should find a cacher’s assorted lot!
La Vista
The cache when hidden was a 500ml sistema containing log book and usual accessories.
