WAR OF THE GARGANTUAS: GAIRA
Gaira is a violent, 90-foot tall, man-eating green giant who appeared in the 1966 Toho monster-fest, War of the Gargantuas. Gaira has been known to drag ships to the bottom of the ocean, rampage through international airports, smash entire sound stages of exquisitely crafted miniature cities, and eat hapless pedestrians. Mind you, try not to get eaten while you're hunting this cache, as it might put a damper on your day.
Keeley Park is Greensboro's newest outdoor facility, with picnic areas, kids' playgrounds, ample parking, restrooms, hiking paths, and scenic wetlands. It is a work in progress, with several baseball fields and additional hiking/biking trails still in the planning stages.
The cache, like its namesake, is green, but is considerably less violent... at least on good days. It lurks not far from the trail, so be wary of muggles who might have their eyes on you. Please be sure to re-hide the container just as you found it. Gaira's brother, Sanda (GC3NJA5), is skulking in the nearby woods, but I recommend sticking to the trails rather than attempting to bushwhack directly from one to the other — you may run into unforeseen obstacles and protected natural areas. Park hours are from sunrise to sunset.
Congrats to Smashemups, FTF.
