Geocache Description:

The Longparish Riverdance trail is a 5 mile, 2 hour walk around a pretty Hampshire village that nestles in the Test Valley. It is suitable for families but please note that some of the footpaths can become very muddy and that there are two stiles to negotiate. Pushchair and wheelchair users may struggle. Some sections utilize quiet country lanes with minimal traffic so care with young children should be taken at all times. Dogs are best kept on leads.

Most of the containers in this series have started life with a pen or pencil but please bring your own just in case. They vary in size and many can accommodate small swaps, trackables or geocoins. All are well camouflaged and vary in difficulty although the terrain rating remains constant throughout.

Each logbook has one or two round green stickers on the front page that will lead you to the bonus cache after you have completed the series. You will need to collect ten letter/number combinations (eg V=9 or W=3) to be able to solve the simple coordinates puzzle found on the bonus cache listing.

We recommend that the trail is done in numerical order.

Coordinates for the Village Hall car park, a good place to leave the geomobile whist doing the trail, can be found on Longparish Riverdance #1 & 14.

You are looking for a camouflaged small metal canister.

Many thanks to Parkship for placing the original Longparish trail, now archived, upon which this series has been based and expanded.

“If anybody would like to expand this series please do, I would just ask that you could let Sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication.
There is also a Church Micro Stats page found via the Bookmark list”

Logging Etiquette: Geocache hiders sometimes go through a great deal of planning to place their caches. As a result, they'd like to hear your feedback on whether you liked or disliked any aspect of the hide, the journey or location, or if you feel that some cache maintenance is required. Single word, acronym, or "copy and paste" logs may be easier when you have a lot of caches to log, but it doesn't tell the hider or other finders anything about your adventure (or lack thereof) in finding the cache. Please keep this in mind when entering your log.
