Where: N 50° 00.705 W 096° 57.065
When: Saturday, August 25th, 2012
Time: 1pm - 5pm
The starting point is at the dead end gravel road that parallels hwy 59 and just past the 59er. That's right, we've started your survival test at a dead end.
Are you ready for your survival test? Brush up on your survival knowledge and prepare to be tested! Your survival testers today are MissionMode and Glacier_ice. They will be at the starting location, handing out your tests, until 2pm. At which point, they will reconvene to N 50° 01.385 W 096° 54.460 (The central site of activities) to await the teams and complete the grading.
Have you studied? Have you prepared? Will you score an A+ or a dismal F? Prepare to be tested (poked, prodded and analyzed too!) You will embark on a journey, beyond sight and smell (there will be farms, oh yes, there will be farms) so pack up your troubles in your old kit bag and Cache, Cache, Cache!
Please NOTE!
This challenge WILL require the use of a vehicle. So plan to get together in teams to save gas. There will be an extensive amount of driving. HPVs are not really recommended for this year's challenge.
