This legend is unique to Dartmoor and only dates back to the 1920`s it involves a stretch of road along the B3212 between postbridge and two bridges a series of accidents have occurred. It even made the front pages of the Daily Mail. Many people have stated that two hairy hands grab the steering wheel causing them to lose control. There has been at least one fatality linked to this story.
So please take care on your drive along this road and let’s hope there is only one set of hands holding the steering wheel (yours).
We have chosen this area because it overlooks the road and also looks over to Bellever which forms part of the lich way otherwise known as the way of the dead.
Where this cache is, a mysterious horseman has been spotted on many occasions riding a skeleton steed, he is said to have links with the whist hounds as their kennel is in wistmans woodland lies just over the hill.

Each cache will contain a part co-ordinate for the bonus cache. The first 10 caches are all small pots but the last is a good size ammo box.
