28/04/2019 - you are now looking for a long tube with a black screwtop.
You are looking for a tube, equivalent of four 35mm film cans laid end to end.
When placed it contained,

Pencil
Trackable Turtle.
Cries of 'Fore' will undoubtedly be heard if you are here
at the right time of day at the right time of year.
Thankfully there's a boundary hedge which serves
innocent non-golfers well. Please read my note of 15/11/2014 rather than just logging that it needs a maintenance check. It was possible to replace it a little above ground level roughly where the original clue suggests. If you don't think it can be, please leave it on the ground covered with as big a bit of the original hiding place as comes to hand. I have made the hint a little more vague.
