akgh519: Been thinking I would make this bike ride again but haven't. Not likely anyone will want the spot but you never know. So, archiving so others might make a hide. Or, I will make a new one if and when I ever get there again!

Geocache Description:

Balancing Act is a small traditional cache place beyond the end of the Eklutna Road that begins at the Eklutna Lake campground. From the end of the road take the trail from there toward Eklutna Glacier and you will find the cache along the way.

The road ends 12.9 miles from the campground. The glacier is another 2.2 miles further from there. We were able to bike to the end of the road and then hiked the rest of the way to the glacier. The road is approved for ATV's on certain days of the week. Currently, that is Sunday through Wednesday.

Consider spending the night as there are many camping spots along the way too!!!

The cache is a watertight cell phone dry box that measures 6 in x 1-5/8 in x 3 in.

This cache is placed under Chugach State Park Permit No 12-004
