Geocache Description:

Don't Blink!

This cache is part of a series of Doctor Who caches - placed because Doctor Who is the best TV show ever!

The cache locations have been chosen because they are great places to visit and they correspond to something in the Doctor Who episode. Originally, there were 9 caches in the series. At 8 of the caches you collected a clue that helped lead you to the final cache in the series. This cache used to contain Clue #2. However, since 6 of the caches - including the final cache in the series - have been archived, there is no longer a puzzle to be solved. So we haven't included the clue in this cache.

On October 11th, 2017 we archived this cache because the camo had gone missing and we didn't have the time or energy to remake it. About a week later, SpecificOceans messaged us to ask whether we would realist the cache if he remade a similar camo. Less than a week after that, SpecificOceans had remade the camo and on October 26th the reviewer, i,riblit, unarchived the cache.

A huge thank you to SpecificOceans for keeping the cache alive!!

Plenty of parking is available on any of the roads that surround the cemetery. Be aware of parking restrictions if you visit the cache during school hours, as the cemetery is located across the street from Manly West Public School.

About Manly Cemetery
(copied from the former Manly Council web site, which no longer exists.)

Manly Cemetery, situated in Griffiths Street, is one of the oldest cemeteries in Sydney that is still in use. The cemetery is divided into three sections; Church of England, Roman Catholic and General (i.e. other denominations). It was consecrated as a burial ground in 1865, and although burials now only take place in plots purchased years ago, ashes may still be placed in the Columbarium.

History
It was set apart officially by the Government in 1872 although some of the burials pre-date this time. Soon after Trustees were appointed to manage the cemetery and did so until 1969 when the administration was passed to Manly Council.
In January 2000 a columbarium was built by Manly Council at the cemetery. One Hundred and Forty Four niches were available for sale in the first stage wall of the columbarium, with three more stages planned. The final walls of the columbarium were completed in 2010
.

Cemetery Walks
With the assistance of members of the Ivanhoe Park Precinct Committee and the Local Studies Librarian, Terry Metherell of the Manly, Warringah and Pittwater Historical Society has compiled two Cemetery Walks.
One walk is suitable for children, the other for adults. Both highlight some of the most interesting.

Congratulations to thejohnnos for a speedy FTF! Nice work team!
