About This Cache:
It's such a beautiful area out here. Lovely little beaches surround this area, so take a picnic, have lunch as you explore and enjoy what Northland has to offer. Stop off for a swim, listen to the ocean or the birds, or get in and out asap... your choice. Get mystified in mystery of Matapouri.
There are two ways of getting to this cache. One is straight along the beach and up the hill. Or if you have a little bit more time and want to pick up a few more caches, you can come along from the top of the hill parking area for Whale bay.
Once at the beach you can make your way over to near pebbly Beach, then follow the track up the hill, when you get to the fence and corner, you will head into the bush to the coordinates.
Enjoy the views on your way up and along.
You will be looking for an Ammo can. Keep well hidden.
