A mid-week, evening event for idle 'caching' chitchat

The George & Dragon, High Street, Epping, Essex, CM16 4AQ

Why?

This is a great opportunity to meet fellow cachers, exchange ideas, news and have a good catch up.

Although we say "Essex" cachers, anyone can come and join in the fun, it is always a pleasure to welcome "out of area" cachers. We especially welcome those who are new to Geocaching who can pick-up a few hints & tips from the old pro's who will be available on hand to help.

Parking

There are a small number of spaces available at the rear of the pub, which is accessible via Hemnall Street.
There are also spaces available in the High Street (1 hour parking restriction is lifted after 5:30pm)
Alternatively there is a pay and display car park available on Cottis Lane behind M&S which is accessible by St Johns Road and then Bakers Lane. You can then access the High Street via the walkway alongside M&S.

Dogs

We were asked about dogs being allowed, they will be allowed in the Beer Garden, but not inside of the pub, fingers crossed we will have the weather on our side by then, so this shouldn't be an issue.

Trackables

Following the successful usage of www.tee-bees.co.uk at Essex Meet 15, we will be using this again for this meet. This will make discovering the TB's much easier (if this is your bag). When you place a trackable in the box can we ask you to please enter the trackable code on the logsheet and then we will load them all into the system on Thursday morning.
