Rabney and Derf became friends back in the old country in 1960. Since then, they have been through a lot together.
They are so close, they once built a joint swimming pool in the backyards.
They have babysat family together, even if it caused them to miss sporting events such as a fight.
They have also tried inventing things together, such as a cure for hic-cups.
Their families have vacationed together including a hunting trip in the mountains.
Once, Derf told his rich uncle that he named his son after him, and Rabney went along with it in hopes Derf would get rich.
Derf even got Rabney a job as a repo man once.
The two once thought they had won the lottery and lost the ticket, but it turns out they didn't win anyway.
They have faked being ill to skip work to watch a big ball game together.
They also share the love of photography as a hobby.
In addition to the hic-cup cure, there was the time Derf worked on a weight loss formula that really worked.
But their biggest adventure may have been the time they were kidnapped, taken to an island, almost poisoned and eventually escaped.
