Trail head of Hummingbird , right on top of "GC1XY79 Don't Jump Major Jarhead"
The event will be at the Trailhead of Hummingbird Creek Trail, June 9th located at the East end of Simi at the crossroads of the 118 and Kuehner. Meet at the dirt parking lot (N34-16.827, W118-39.717).
The event will start at 8:00am and end approx 10:00am. The event is being hosted by Lightningstar along with Alcoa Fastening Systems, Simi Valley Trail Blazers and with the help of the Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District.
Paint, Tools, gloves, some water and some snacks will be provided. Please wear work clothes and a smile.
This event is not recommended for young children, because of the somewhat graphic nature of the Graffiti we are painting over. This is also in a Rock Outcrop and we don’t want kids to fall or trip and get hurt on any of the Hazards.
The Hike back to the clean up site is approx. 600’ on level ground.
