Geocache Description:

ABOUT THE CHURCH

St Mary's is situated in the small hamlet of Compton, a little over one mile east of Farnham in the Waverley district of Surrey, and is the daughter church of St Andrew's Parish Church. It is built from local ironstone and was originally built as a school house for the local workhouse. The tiny congregation fought hard to save the church but it seems destined to be closed for the foreseeable future - such a shame.

ABOUT THE CACHE

At the stated co-ords, take a look at the porch, there are a number of carved clubs. How many? = A

Follow the church's telephone connection to its telegraph pole. What is the number on the telegraph pole (white label)? BCDEFG

The cache is at:
N 51 12. (C + F) (A + G) (B + E - F)
W 0 46. (B + D - F) D ((D + E) - (A / C))

If anybody would like to expand to this series please do, we would just ask that you could let Sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication
