Incineration Plant - Müllverbrennungsanlage
Hier, am südöstlichen Rande des ehemaligen Flughafens Tempelhof, steht noch die ehemalige Müllverbrennungsanlage der Amerikanischen Streitkräfte in Berlin. Diese Anlage kann man gut über den Eingang des Flugfeldes am S-Bahnhof Tempelhof erreichen, wenn man sich gleich nach rechts wendet und den schmaleren Weg mit den rosa Kreisen wählt. Vom Eingang bis zum Cache sind es ca. 2 km. Dieser Weg eignet sich sehr gut zum Skaten, da die Oberfläche, anders als auf den früheren Landebahnen, größtenteils schön glatt ist. Leider vergällt die nahe Autobahn das Erlebnis an frischer Luft ein wenig.

Um den Cache zu heben, braucht man lange, schmale Finger. ;-)
ENGLISH DESCRIPTION: In the south-east area of the former airport Berlin-Tempelhof there hides the former incineration plant of the American Forces in Berlin. Now there hides a cache at the fence as well. You need long and thin fingers to get the cache. Location is easy to reach, the path (the "circular path") has one of the smoothest surfaces of the airport's ways and is perfect for skating. Coming from the entrance next to the S-Bahn station "Tempelhof", just turn right and follow the smaller path with the big pink dots.
